Not exactly, the coverage amount they provide you varies depending on whether you have a passenger at the time of loss.  Also, some auto policies will not extend coverage for persons driving for hire.  Just give us a call and we can discuss your specifics.

If you have an active full coverage auto policy and are adding or replacing a vehicle then most policies will extend coverage temporarily.  But remember to call us the next business day and add to it your policy.

Wrong.  The owner of the vehicle is responsible to carry the insurance for their vehicle, so make sure any vehicle you drive is covered.

With most carriers if you have a full coverage vehicle on your policy, the same coverage and deductibles would extend to cover you when renting a car while on vacation. So as long and your limits and deductibles are satisfactory to the rental company, you would not need to purchase their extra insurance.
